5. I don't know, maybe this is a generational thing, but when I hear the
words "Men's Lounge," I think it's an euphemism for... gawd, they're all
euphemisms!... "public restroom." So I'll explain that this particular
room, and its name, dated back to a more, uh, genteel day--Coffman has (or
had, I haven't checked lately, and its been remodeled) both Men's and
Women's Lounges which were actual, you know, lounges: room with couches and
comfortable chairs and stuff where one could sit and chat or read or
whatever. By the time of Minicon 1 they were no longer segregated by sex,
if, in fact, they ever were....
